Hello LCS Families,
Greetings! We hope that you are having a fun-filled and relaxing summer. The Fall semester is several weeks away and our admin group has started planning the details on school opening. Considering the current situation of the Delta variant and the importance of having in-person learning experience for our students. We have finalized a hybrid model for the 2021-2022 school year.
Students will be grouped into two cohorts (cohort A and cohort B). Cohort A are students from all Mandarin classes and cohort B are students from all Cantonese classes. In the weeks that cohort A will be taking in-person classes, cohort B will be taking virtual classes thru Zoom. See updated calendar for the schedule of the in-person and virtual class in each cohort.
To minimize the amount of people gathering in the cafeteria, we would allow staff and volunteers only to stay at the school during school hours. Parents will drop off the students after signing in, temperature check and completing the Covid forms. Parents will pick up the students after signing out. We will request parents to stay close by the premises in case an unexpected situation arises during school hours.
